Spin Casting

Centrifugal casting, aka spin casting, is a method of utilizing centrifugal force to produce castings from a silicone rubber mold. It is a popular technique in the jewelry industry, as well as in manufacturing of small metal parts that require high precision, such as collectible miniatures, fishing lures, and various components such as casted buckles and accessories for the leather industry and garment industry, imitation jewelry, promotion gifts, medal, and figurines etc from metals with relatively low melting points (such as pewter, zinc, and some low-melting-point alloys).
